MAQUINARIA NAVAL MAPSA SL, began its activities in the fishing industry in the 1980s. From the beginning we have actively contributed to the development of improvements in the sector, especially trawling and purse-seine methods where we have constantly strived to introduce the latest technology of the day to optimise catches and to make fishing easier.
 

The results of the innovations contributed are various registered patents by MAPSA, the majority of which we manufacture and market directly, for example, the HIP-SE trawling doors or the more recent hydrodynamic STAR doors (the most efficient trawling doors manufactured to date). It is also worth mentioning the incorporation of intelligent systems in the winches that allows manoeuvres to be automated which in turn improves fishing performance and reduces human involvement.

 
A large workshop, a technical office equipped with the latest IT advances for computer assisted design as well as a powerful programme for the simulation of net behaviour in different conditions and extremely helpful and knowledgeable workforce; all these elements make MAQUINARIA NAVAL MAPSA SL the best ally a fisherman could possibly have.
